The Global Investor Programme (GIP) is an initiative by Economic Development Board (EDB) of Singapore. This is a popular programme which has attracted many investors to Singapore since its launch.
This Programme is to assist foreign investors and entrepreneurs to set up and develop their business in Singapore. It provides links to local business networks and more opportunities for business collaborations. It also provides a range of immigration facilitations.
Under the GIP scheme, you can choose either one of the following investment options:
For Applicants with entrepreneurial and business track record:
The turnover of your company must be at least SGD$200 million in the most recent year, and on average for the last 3 years if your company is in the real-estate or construction-related industry
OR
The turnover of your company must be at least S$50 million per annum in the most recent year and on average for the last 3 years if your company is in other sectors.
